Paisa Review

Paisa, the Crime entertainer from Krishna Vamsi is finally out after a long delay due to financial issues. Has Nani and KV been able to deliver the goods?. Read on.

Story :
The story of an average Young Man lusting for Money. He unexpectedly discovers some Big bucks. But There are as many as 3 gangs on the prowl aiming for the same and so he is on the run. How he eliminates the risks and finds a peaceful end forms the rest.

Performances:
Nani did a fine job in the film. You are only as good as your Director choose to be. Despite his hard work you will still end up sighing heavily about the film. Charan Raj & RK play other key roles and are adequate. The leading ladies are rather poor but enough for the glam quotient.

Technical Departments
Music: Sai Kartheek`s Music is strictly average and doesn`t excite you either on screen. The Paisa BGM Track is good and is one of plus points for the film.

Cinematography: Okay.
Editing: Average, too many over the top angles and shots.

Stunts: Adequate.

Story,Screenplay & Direction :
Story is an interesting one once it is revealed on screen. The main problem lies with Screenplay & Characterisations. Right from the start the narration is an irritating one. It is unnecessarily over the top and botched up job. The Crime Comedy angle explored by the Director is good but it has been spoiled with bad screenplay. The film`s 2nd half is a little bit better than 1st half thanks to few interesting scenes & chases. But once you have been through that poor initial Hour it doesn`t actually matter in the end. It is definitely not a film let down by story or performances it is completely let down by the style of narration the Director choose to.

Box-office Verdict

The film has been released after a lot of Discussions and pleadings due to financial issues. It looks like the bad times will continue even after release for the Producer. And we sincerely hope thats not going to be the case.

Bottom Line: Botched up Crime Comedy.
